pARTNER uP pROGRAM

New Life Movement’s Partner Up program provides job shadowing/career mentorship opportunities for Richmond youth ages 15-24 by connecting them with local businesses and professionals seeking interns to help support their daily operations. By engaging with the local workforce, participants in Partner Up are able to begin building a professional network of mentors, from whom they receive guidance, potential future career opportunities, and an environment in which to develop the social-emotional, time management, and entrepreneurial skills to become a positive asset and role model in their community.
Participants will devote 2-4 hours per day, 3-4 days per week as interns/youth partners, gaining valuable work experience in salons, nonprofits, restaurants, stores, and even the city government. |
